Heat Pump Grants – Home Energy Scotland
Looking to install a heat pump in your Scottish home? Home Energy Scotland (HES) offers grants and interest-free loans to help homeowners switch to low‑carbon heating.
Who’s eligible:
• Owner-occupiers in existing homes.
• Whole-house heat pump installation (heating + hot water).
• Homes in rural or island locations may receive additional funding.
Funding:
• Grant: Up to £7,500 for a standard heat pump.
• Rural/island uplift: Additional £1,500, totalling up to £9,000 if eligible.
• Optional interest-free loan: Helps cover additional costs, up to £7,500
